PETER WINTHER’S SUPERNATURAL HORROR THE WICKED

S. Peace Nistades has been co-scoring Peter Winther’s upcoming supernatural horror feature THE WICKED with veteran composer Joseph LoDuca (Hercules, Xena, Spartacus). S. Peace will also be producing the score, which will feature vocals by Jennifer Cook and will be recorded at S. Peace’s facility Alkaloide Music Productions in Los Angeles, CA.

S. PEACE NISTADES NOMINATED FOR IAWTV AWARDS

S. Peace Nistades was recently nominated for Best Original Music by the International Academy of Web Television (IAWTV) for his score for Felicia Day’s DRAGON AGE: REDEMPTION series released earlier this fall. S. Peace Nistades will be speaking at the IAWTV Music Panel at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas on January 11, 2012 as well as attend the awards ceremony the next evening, January 12.

PAUL V. SEETACHITT’S ROCK JOCKS

S. Peace Nistades will be scoring Paul V. Seetachitt’s upcoming sci-fi action comedy feature ROCK JOCKS which stars Felicia Day, Doug Jones, Andrew Bowen, Justin Chon and Jason Mewes.

S. PEACE NISTADES SCORES CROQUEMBOUCHE

S. Peace Nistades has signed on to score Matthew Chevlen’s psychological drama short Croquembouche. Produced in conjunction with the American Film Institute and Mindview Films, the story revolves around the lives of two women who meet during World War II.

DRAGON AGE: REDEMPTION EXCLUSIVE COMIC CON PREVIEW

Felicia Day, Peter Winther, Doug Jones and the rest of the DRAGON AGE: REDEMPTION team previewed an exclusive trailer for the series at this year’s San Diego Comic Con on July 21. The trailer is not currently available for public preview but the teaser can be viewed here. The series is expected to be released later this fall.

SHORT FILMS SCREENING THIS MAY

Some exciting screenings coming up this May for short films scored by S. Peace Nistades!  Jacob Chase’s short psychological thriller PATIENT ZERO, which S. Peace scored back in 2010 will be screening at the Newport Beach Film Festival on May 1st. Jefferson Wu’s short action sci-fi film DRONE will also be screening on May 1st at the LA Asian Pacific Film Festival. And lastly, Musaab AG’s psychological thriller short THE TRAVELLER, scored by S. Peace Nistades and Anders T. Røshol will screen as “Official Selection” at the Cannes Film Festival’s  Short Film Corner later this May.

THE HARE PROMO

S. Peace Nistades has just wrapped scoring the first official promo sequence for Benjamin Schultz’s gritty superhero tale THE HARE penned by brother, writer and producer Andrew Schultz. The score was recorded and mixed at Alkaloide Music Productions and is currently in the final stages of post-production.
